Do I need experience working with dogs ?
While a love for dogs is essential, you don’t need prior dog walking or business experience to become a Doggy Walking franchisee. We provide full training across dog handling, operations, customer management, and marketing — everything you need to succeed.
Our dog handling training is designed to help you deliver confidence and calm in every situation, teaching you to act as a true pack leader. You’ll learn how to advocate for your pack, maintain control, and ensure the safety of all dogs, team members, and the community at all times.
What kind of support will I receive?
You’ll get full access to our proven systems, admin and sales support, marketing campaigns, Pet Care Management software and automation tools. Our Sydney-based coordination team assists you daily, ensuring smooth operations and consistent growth.
How many dogs can I expect to walk each day?
Your first-year goal is to build a full van — around 16–20 dogs per day (4 dogs per walk per person). As your client base grows, so does your earning potential, flexibility, and local reputation.
Beyond this stage, we’ll guide you into the next phase of growth — helping you recruit your first team members, add additional vans, and scale your territory.
